Perlman is also founder, songwriter and lead vocalist of the rock band Rejectionist Front. Perlman’s music has played on radio across the US, on MTV, in films and been nominated as best soundtrack by the Independent Music Awards. He has toured throughout the US as well as Europe, Australia and New Zealand. His music has been mixed by Grammy Winner Andy Wallace ( Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Nirvana, Foo Fighters) .The band has been honored to have a track on a benefit CD, alongside Crosby and Nash, Willie Nelson, Patti Smith, Third Eye Blind and Our Lady Peace as well having shared the stage with Joan Baez, George Clinton& P-Funk, Talib Kweli and Redman.
